Wonderful 1850\'s Vichy valance with gorgeous blue tones! This was once the TOP of a large curtain, but it was cut away, so now what is left is a little valance textile! The bottom is raw and uncut ~*~ the top has wonderful tiny rings for hanging ALL along the top ~*~ ~ This valance is so gorgeous! I LOVE the addition of the printed cotton, this cotton dates from the late 1700\'s ~ ~ Vichy is an area outside of Paris thatproduced this gorgeous fabric thatbecame known as Vichy check. Vichy check was the primary furnishing fabric of the late 1700\'s and early 1800\'s. The tones of this piece of Vichy check are beautiful aged white, blue tones! ~ ~This textile must have been cut away from a much larger curtain! ~ ~*~ ~ . ~*

MEASUREMENTS : This textile measures: 14 inch drop by 64 inches wide

CONDITION : This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~There are a few tiny holes, the bottom is cut ~ lovely antique piece!
