Wonderful 1780\'s faded pink French Vichy!~ This textile is a fragment from an antique French bed curtain set ~ It\'s wonderful, and LARGE ~*~ ~Vichy is an area outside of Paris thatproduced this gorgeous fabric, thatbecame known as Vichy check . Vichy check was the primary furnishing fabric of the late 1700\'s and early 1800\'s ~There are 9 of the most glorious , 18th century brass rings for hanging on the top of this textile and one wooden ring, it\'s extraordinary! ~ ~ ~ the tone of the check has developed a beautiful unevenly faded pink and has a lovely large patch on the bottom left. ~*~ STUNNING ~ A wonderfully rare textile~ ~ It was made by seaming 4 panels of wonderful check together. This panel is in wonderful condition, with the exception of some minor flaws as can be expected with textiles of this age, please see condition below. ~ This fabric would be lovely for projects such as curtains, pillows, light upholstery , lampshades, wall hanging, table cover etc ~*~ ~*~ ~ . ~*~ ( panel C99 )

MEASUREMENTS : This textile has a corner cut away but the overall dimensions are 70 inches long, 86 inches wide. The corner that is cut away measures about 27 by 25 inches. ~*~

CONDITION : This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition ~ There are the usual signs of time and use, uneven fading, small holes scattered around, foxing (little pale peppery marks) on the body, a few pale storage marks and a wonderful patch!!~ it\'s SO beautiful ~
