Selling a "Mulberry Maze" print by prolific Folly Cove Designer Margaret "Peggy" Norton circa 1947. Cotton fabric was stamped with two shades of green in addition to a light and dark pink on a slightly off-white field. Unlike placemats, this print was made to advertise and thus includes the title of the print with FCD brand name, "PN" (Peggy Norton) and characteristic circular wave pattern below.
Overall 22 by 15.5 inches, print alone is 15 by 11 inches which does not include wording.Overall the fringe is clean and the ink still stiff. When I framed this design in the past I simply folded the fabric over to fit in a frame. I judge the print to be in good vintage condition, but look the photos over and decide for yourself.Norton experimented with myriad color combinations while printing "Mulberry Maze" and several of her prints used numerous colors in their presentation including "Hearts and Flowers" and "Small Fruit."
