This card would have been sent to the Folly Cove Designer\'s mailing list I believe in 1965 (the dates match up) which would have seen the group in their final years. It was typical for mailers to feature a Folly Cove design released in the same year, and \"Up Country Meet\" premiered in 1964. The invitation invites the public to the designer\'s annual open house at the barn which was always highly attended. Crowds came from far and wide (area hotels advertised the sale) and police had to work to keep traffic moving on Route 127!
Black and white paper card measures 5.5 by 7 inches. Card is creased down the center for mailing but lies flat. Overall clean, extremely slight markings on the reverse. See photos for your best understanding of condition. It\'s unlikely, of all that were mailed to customers, that very many of these invitations survive today.
I have numerous invitations grouped and framed, they\'re a fantastic souvenir for a serious collector or admirer of the group.
