We are offering for sale a rare and very beautiful, 1850’s \"Gutta Percha” / DUAL Ninth Plate / Thermoplastic Ambrotype/ Photograph Hard Case titled \"A FAMILY PARTY\". This beautiful LITTLEFIELD PARSONS Case measures approx. 3\" x 4 3/4\"\" (outer measurements) and the interior opening accommodates two 1/9 Plate size Images.

The molded design on the front of the case features \" A FAMILY PARTY \" consisting of a Mother, Daughter, Dog and Cat! The design is in very good condition with bright finish scattered with some dust wear. The reverse of the case is more plain and classic with a bit more wear. No damage noted. Corners intact. Designated 1-49.
The Case contains a (2) AMBROTYPES featuring MEN, possibly BROTHERS! The images remain very good.

A very rare and beautiful, 1850’s Ninth Plate, Figural Gutta Percha / Thermoplastic Tintype Case and CIVIL WAR SOLDIER makes a fantastic addition to any collection!!
