Prince of a Pipe
This Prince Amled Art Line with it's shockingly tall bowl in the '60s Danish fancy style, and it's thin, demurely bent stem conjure up visions of the European intelligentsia gathering around some modern art exhibit. The pointed bottom of the bowl is also reminiscent of the Pick Axe and is the epitome of the Danish pipe from this era. The black stained rusticated stummel is juxtaposed by the smooth, light stained rim.
This piece is in near mint condition and a prize for any collection. A model 3170 with clear stamping and thick walls.The pipe has been gently reamed, cleaned and polished. With no bite marks on the stem and very little darkening on the rim.
