Rare and fantastic photographs, \"Item 484900-5 ◊ c. 1917 Type-1 Press Photograph, WWI Soldiers Resting in their Tent at Camp.\"

This wonderful WWI Type 1 Press Photograph measures measures approx. 8-1/2\" X 6” (≈20 cm. X 15 cm.) It shows two weary soldiers resting after a long day of work. One appears to be writing a letter … maybe to his sweetheart. You can see other tents in the background, so it is obviously a camp. It appears they have hung their laundry on the outside of the tent

Although we do not know the name of the photographer, the Press Photo carries the backstamp which says \"Copyright Newspaper Illustrations LTD, 161^ Strand, WC, By our Staff Photographers., Special War Service\", and \"COPYRIGHT IN U.S.A. by International News Service.\"

This unique and historical photo is in very good condition, despite the fact that the upper-left corner is missing. In addition the other corner is slightly chipped. Plus there\'s a bit of curling to the photo, and some minor surface wear. But it is very clean, and the details in the photo are clear.
