Rare and fantastic photograph, \"c. 1917 Type-1 Photograph of WWI Soldiers Working in the Trenches at the Front Lines. \"We received this photo along with other Type-1 Press Photographs and other promo photos, which were released by News Agencies from the UK, and the USA, during the war.

This fascinating Photo measures approx. 7-1/8\" X 5-1/2” (≈18.5 cm. X 14 cm.) As you can see there are four soldiers in a trench. Some are relaxing. One has an axe and appears to be preparing to chop branches off a dead tree. It is very interesting to see their uniforms and gear, and the conditions in the trench.

The photo is in very good condition, although it is a bit dark. It is mounted on heavy photographic card stock, which is very sturdy, so the edges and corners are in good shape. There is some minor surface wear. But it is very clean, and the details are clear.
