Definitely vintage brown US Army lightweight long-sleeve wool shirt-jacket in a size 15 with 33 length arms. Olive green placket running down the inside left button-hoe row. Two brown buttons beneath the back of the collar. Seven buttons down the front. Flap-tab button chest pockets on each side;. In the collar a little tag: \"15-33.\" On the bottom inside back hem: \"Special E Andala Company Cont.W-669 qm-17005 Dated Mar. 28m 1942 Stock No. 55-S-6706-3 15-33 Q.M.C. Tent Spec. P. Q. D. No. 96A Dated 10/8/41 Phila. Q. M. Depot Inspector.\" This is a light-weight long-sleeve wool brown shirt-jacket. Measurements: Sleeves: 24 inches from cuff to shoulder seam. Vertical down middle of front 28.75 inches. Vertical down middle of back from top of collar to bottom seam is 35 inches. Horizontal on back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 18 inches. Horizontal across front from top of shoulder seam to top of shoulder seam is 17 inches. Horizontal front from bottom of armpit to bottom of armpit is 20 inches.I don\'t know anything about the history of this piece. It has been hanging in a moth-proof bag for years, along with wool button-front trousers, which I just listed separately.
