Vintage US Army M-1951 Military Field Trousers Cargo Pants Olive Green Regular Small
This vintage pair of US Army M-1951 full length olive green pleated field trousers have the following features: - zipper fly with button fastening at the waist; zipper pull is marked “Talon”
- seven belt loops
- six buttons around the outer waistband
- six buttons around the inner waistband for the attachment of a liner
- waist adjuster tabs with metal buckles
- diagonal slash pockets with snap-fasten flaps on the front
- large double-pleated expanding cargo pockets on the sides of the legs with snap-fasten flaps
- cargo pocket straps
- two horizontal slash back pockets with snap-fasten flaps
- drawstring adjusters inside the cuff hems
Labels inside the trousers read in part: Regular Small Waist: From 27 to 31” Inseam: 29-1/2 to 32-1/2” Stock No. 55-T-95000-35 Trousers, Shell, Field, M-1951 Fulton Trouser Co. Inc. 6 Jan. 1952, Q.M. 23531-01-8744 Spec. Mil-T-2060-A Patt. Date 20 Nov. 1951 S-3446
Mrs. Edna recommends that you wash the trousers before wearing to remove any vintage dust, dirt or debris.
This item is in close to very good pre-owned vintage condition. There are no rips or tears in the fabric. There are no missing buttons. The zipper fly works perfectly without any problems; no sticking, no broken or damaged teeth.
The buttons, straps, drawstrings, zipper, and buckles appear to be original to the trousers. Everything is well secured to the garment.
There are signs of wear from age, use and storage, which includes but is not limited to spots/marks and stains. There is some wear to the fabric on the back by the seat, rear pockets, side cargo pockets and areas that cover the snaps. No noticeable wear to the bottom cuffs.
