"Christmas Eve" is a Maxfield Parrish illustration featured on a Brown & Bigelow unused 1970's Christmas card. Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966) was an American painter and illustrator active in the first half of the 20th century. He is known for his distinctive saturated hues and whimsical mythological scenes.

The embossed card measures approximately 5.25" x 7.5" in overall size and 3.5" x 5" in image size. Inside the card is a business sentiment and is signed "Comics and Comix Co." Comics and Comix Co. was a comic book retailer based in Berkeley, California, that for a short time also had a publishing division. The company was founded by Bud Plant, Robert Beerbohm, and John Barrett. Comics & Comix operated from 1972 to 2004
