About the design: Washi paper on die-cut bamboo struts; Wisteria design unused in original box - see photos.
About the fans: This is one of a large collection of vintage fans we haveacquired that were stock from an old fan shop in Kyoto. They are the printed, washi-paper type that Japanese women carry with them in warm weather. They are very intricately hand-made and have floral or nature motifs on one side and are blank on the back. Some have strings with a bead. The bamboo struts are a natural, un-lacquereddie-cutdesign. Most are unused but as they have been stored for many years, may have discoloration or other issues from age. We have multiples of some of the designs and the listing will indicate this.See photos for other details.
