Japanese Kyoto VTG Kimono yukata Height 42\" Width 22\" Striped Linen Men\'s Robe:

This item is a very small, men's or women's kimono or yukata made of lightweight linen in earth tones.

The vintage pattern is striped. Apologies for the range of colors shown, the two lighter ones were under an indoor light.

Measurements are 42" long and 22" across. The open arm hole is about 6".

This lightweight Yukata will make great loungewear, pool and beach cover up, or summer jacket over jeans or a dress. 

In current times, people in Japan are adopting kimonos as a modern fashion item, even transforming silk ones into wedding dresses.

If you are going to wear a kimono seriously, you will also need an obi.

Obi is not included in this purchase. There is no sash or tie. 

The item is vintage and likely used, although it has been soaked, hand laundered and air dried. No stains or damage were noted while handling although I am not claiming it is perfect.
