This daguerreotype features an unusually intimately posed attractive young couple. The pretty lady wore a bonnet and the bearded gentleman wore a striped tie. They are identified as Nash and Mary Mitchell taken in 1854.
The 1/9 plate is not sealed and the half case measures about 2.5 x 3 inches.
