Nimke is an absolute must-have for any Vermont, New York or New England railway collector's library. This volume adds a tremendous lot of additional information that was not included in earlier volumes - SEE the "Contents" photo please! It is overflowing with rare photos, diagrams and maps and a treasure trove of history of the railroad and its surrounding communities. This is a FIRST (ONLY) PRINTING hardcover. It IS AUTHOR SIGNED. It comes complete with the large diagram of the rail yard in Rutland Vermont, that was included with it originally . CONDITION : Exceptionally clean -! The only way you can tell it's been read, is that it does not "crack" when you open it. The ONLY "damage" we can find is that there are some places on the black cover where the black has been rubbed. It's just like you'd find in a book store. SIZE: "Coffee table" 12 inches by 9 inches. 200 inside pages. IMPORTANT - The pictures all are of the ACTUAL BOOK, they are NOT "stock photos."
