BACKGROUND: El 10th de Mayo boycott grapes; May 10, 1969 was international Boycott Day targeting Safeway stores in US.Organized by the United Farm Workers under the leadership of Casar Chavez, the boycott organized over 25,000 people picketing400 of the 2200 Safeway stores in the United States.
