Could be the only extant example of someone wearing early hearing aids! Extremely rare and interesting image of young woman with wearing what appears to be a type of \"Aurolese Phones\": IE headband hearing aids. She wears a gold highlighted necklace. 1/9th plate (2.5 x 2\") daguerreotype. She resides in a complete flip top leather case with a intact hinge and red velvet pillow. Professionally resealed with P-90 archival tape and new glass. Condition as seen including areas of tarnish. Should be considered in very finecondition for its age.
