This is a photograph from myfather\'s files...he was in the Army for 21 years. There wereapproximately 50 photographs in his files when he passed away 20+ yearsago. Many have been sold, but these few remain. There were\"mimeographed\" captions on the back, some are readable withenhancement, and some are not. These were publicity photos from post-WWII eraGermany to be published in military news. Great for the militarybuff!! These are 8\" x 10\" photos. This photo is of Saint Lo, France. After enhancement of the description on the back, I was able to make out \"Master Caption...Five years after, a U.S. Army photographer revists World War II landmarks to photographs as they are today. Neg#..., while St. Lo, France still has many battle scars, the town is slowly being rebuilt. Many pre-fabricated houses and shops were hastily set up, pending construction of the more permanent stone and brick building found throughout France.\"
