PHILIPS, BX740A model manufactured in 1954-55. Maybe the radio with the best Philips sound quality.

12 tubes, with 2 x EL84 ampifier tubes. If you want enjoy the classic music with the higest quality sound, this is your radio.

is one of Philips' strongest and most powerful radios.. It is a very special and singular model. And it is mint condition, and surely in the near future it will be impossible to find it again. Don't miss this opportunity.

It has been checked and tested 100%. All capacitors, tubes and resistors in bad condition have been replaced. All mechanical problems were fixed and the AM-FM filters were adjusted. The dial bulbs were replaced, the dial cable was checked, the ferrite antenna cable was replaced, the variable resistors were cleaned,...everything has been checked. Now, the radio works like new.

It works in FM and AM (MEDIUM WAVE, SHORT WAVE and LONG WAVE)

It has an internal voltage regulator that goes from 110V to 245V so the radio is ready to plug in and work in any country.

12 tubes and 2 speakers with double cone.
