Petrified Pandanus / Twist Palm Wood is only found in one small area here in Wyoming and it is the only place in the whole world that this type of Petrified Wood occurs. This area was heavily hunted over 50 years ago similar to Wyoming Jade with most great pieces like this being picked up a long time ago.

This Petrified Wood is found in the Wagonbed Formation of Fremont County, Wyoming in what we call the Ancient Petrified Pandanus Forest Zone near Beaver Rim.

This would bea great piece to give as a gift or a wonderful souvenir to complement anyone\'s Petrified Wood collection.
