Orlik was an English pipe manufacturer founded in 1899 by Louis Orlik. While the company’s mission was originally to produce low-cost pipes, it would ultimately be known for the distinctly high quality of its products. Consequently, Orlik pipes are a favorite among pipe smokers and collectors today, especially those who prefer the hobby’s Great British classics. This Orlik comes from the time before pipe giant Cadogan purchased the brand.The Liverpool shape hasa particularly long, rounded shank with a short standard stem.The shank\'s round shapeonly distinguishes the Liverpool pipe from the Canadian pipe shape.The piece of Briar necessary to craft such a piece makes these pieces rare.
**This appears to have a replaced stem. Genuine Orlik stems had a brass ring embedded, and the Liverpool would have a smaller bit.**

- The bowl has been reamed, but we leave enough cake so that you do not need to break it in again.
- Stems have been cleaned and sanitized, and vulcanite stems have been de-oxidized and polished.
- Stems may have some teeth marks.
- When needed, stems are replaced (this will be noted in the description).
- Any repairs made will be noted in the description and/or title.
- The bowl has been cleaned of previous smoking (\"ghosting\") using the time-tested saltand alcohol method.
- Briar pipes have the char removed from the rim (as possible), and the outside of the pipe has been cleaned, treated with a restoration balm, and buffed with carnauba wax.
