This is an all original M42 German Stahlhelm. There is a little rust scattered around the inside of the shell and some of the original paint is faded and there are a few chips on the paint where you can see the bare shell. No damage other than the minor things I mentioned. I do not have an original chinstrap for it, but they are rather easy to find.
