These are very old. The inner box that slides out of the small wooden box is also wood! That inner box containing the matches is covered with a very delicate paper so it will slide out easily! The wood for the individual matches is perfectly rectangular, great for making sheep legs for Christmas ornaments or book shelves and miniatures of all sorts! That's what I bought them for decades ago when I went to an antique shop. Too old to do it now!
The coloring and written words are very very clear. I am glad I am not in a photography contest. The colors are vivid.
Made inTidaholm,Swedwn!There are 24 matches in each box that is $15.00 .They are mint, no dents or tears or corners separations, etc. This purchase is for one small traditional size box. I show a picture of a larger box of 12 of the smaller boxes that I have listed elsewhere, or ask me about them.
Matches are not allowed to be mailed via airplanes; surface delivery only.
I will mail these boxes carefully in aluminum foil, then bubble wrap, then another box, so that is why postage will be the price I have.
