Thisbox has a sparkle and shine as if it were made yesterday. But It wasmade in the late 19th or early 20th century when paper maché was apreferred material for small furniture and decorative items. The box is23/4\" high and 3 1/4\" in diameter. There is a small section of the lidthat has been marred (see pictures) but over all it\'s in very goodcondition with no missing bits or nacre. The box was mostly meant forpowder on a lady\'s dresser. There is no powder residue but a faintaroma lingers.
