Very nice condition shell here with great straps and very nice paint and cork. It’s hard to find shells this nice these days and this one would display very well for any helmet collector by itself or paired with any wwii helmet liner. The heat stamp on the shell is hard to find but the iconic S for Schleuter is visible which makes this a WWII production shell likely dating it to late 1944-Early/Mid 1945
