Late WWII US Army Airborne Westinghouse Paratrooper M1-C Helmet Liner Named:

Original late WWII Westinghouse M1C paratrooper helmet liner with name on the sweatband. The yokes are factory installed and are under the A-washers, but the buckles are the late-war wire type (not cast). Close inspection of the rivets shows no signs of tampering. The theory is these liners were produced in the summer of 1945 but the war ended before many could be made. This liner has a post-war shiny repaint indicative of Korean War usage.One of the chinstrap snaps is missing, and the nape webbing has been mostly torn from under the washer.
