WW2 USGI Late War Schlueter Rear Seam Swivel Bale w International Molded Plastic Liner.

This is a late war Schlueter rear seam swivel bale helmet (heat stamp 539A) with OD7 chinstrap one damaged, and an IMP liner. The liner is in great shape with OD 3 HBT webbing, and a later leather chinstrap with OD painted hardware (fragile, and will keep in a baggie separate when shipped). The liner is in beautiful shape, and the paint and hardware are stunning. It is only missing an original nape pad, and the leather sweat band. The helmet itself has a 99 painted on the front, and has some post war sharpied graffiti on the inside. I'm not sure what operation hole in the head would be in reference too, but the army laundry number appears to have been sharpies at the same time. Really cool helmet, and definitely a cool piece of history with possible post war use.
