Important 19th c. Art Nouveau Horse Chestnut Lamp, Signed Keppel, Worked w. Daum:

Beautiful Art Nouveau lamp with an evocative horse chestnut base. It is beautifully formed and worked and signed by Jean Keppel, of the School of Nancy, who worked with legendary glassmaker Daum and the famed Louis Majorelle. He was a maitre ferronnier or master ironworker.

The lamp, which is fully wired, measures 14¼ inches to the top of the shade. 10½ inches to the top of the faux-candle sleeve. The base is 8 inches by 9 inches.

Condition is very good.
