Heavily Illustrated 1932 Brochure about SHERIDAN, WYOMING & The BIG HORN MOUNTAINS

This is a heavily illustrated brochure with information about the small western city of Sheridan, Wyoming, the ”Gateway to the Big Horns” as produced by the Sheridan Commercial Club in Sheridan in 1932.

The 8-⅞ x 9-¼ inch, 20 glossy page brochure has information about the city at the confluence of Big and Little Goose Creeks, elevation 3737 feet. Photos and text highlight western life, industries, dude ranches, wildlife, frontier history, agriculture and cattle raising, recreation possibilities in the Big Horn Mountains and the three roads leading to Yellowstone National Park.

The centerfold is an aerial map of Sheridan and there is a two-page map of the area by engineer L.C. Gwillim featuring mountain peaks, ranger stations, ranches, the Custer Battlefield Highway, railroads, highways and dirt roads! Another double-page spread has information about the three-day Sheridan-WYO-Rodeo (“The Pageant of the Plains”) scheduled for July 1932 as well as famous historical Indian Fights.

Our photos show the actual 90+ year old tourist information about Sheridan, Wyoming and the Big Horn Mountains offered for sale. It is complete and in nice used condition and has no writing, no tape and no odor.
