The Golgotha stone used on the top of this cut glass reliquary was gathered at the site of Golgotha in Jerusalem and placed at the Anointing Stone and Blessed in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre before being was sent to me by my friend Evie who lives in Jerusalem. This will come with the COA info card and placed into the gold foil gift box shown in the photos. The last few info photos will be emailed.
I have a large stone which I have broken it into smaller fragments that I use in my various prayer stones, pendants, relic cards and keepsake sculptures. This stone was gathered from the the site of Golgotha. Photos posted show it being gathered.
The Anointing Stone also known as the Stone of Unction (that the Golgotha stone was placed on) isa large slab of stone placed inside the church of the Holy Sepulchre, between the Golgotha (the hill of the crucifixion of Jesus), and the Tomb of Jesus. By local tradition, on this rock Jesus\' body was laid and prepared for burial. The last 2info photos will be emailed upon purchase.
