FEDERAL CIVIL WAR CAP BOX. Surface rough and in only fair condition; much alligatoring; some finish loss, especially to belt loops; edges of outer flap and back have nicks and splits. Part of latch tap torn off and missing.Both riveted belt loops intact and firmly attached. One of the two small "ears" sewn to inner flap still present, but other is missing. Inside still has wool, but some now loose in box. No nipple pick. Lower part of body has nice maker's stamp "C.S. STORMS / MAKER, N.Y." inside a rectangular box. Please inspect photos carefully.
