Dietz RDG Co. Trans Department Vesta Railroad Lantern with a Dietz Vesta New York USA globe. The lantern was manufactured in the Syracuse Plant in 1949 based on the embossed dates on the top. You can see the date stamped on the chimney - S - 3 - 49. In great shape. The burner, wick and wick adjustment knob are also fully operational and clean. Patent Dates are as follows:
