Dietz RDG Co. Trans Department Vesta Railroad Lantern with a clear Dietz Globe.
The lantern was manufactured in the Syracuse Plant in 1943 based on the embossed dates on the top. You can see the date stamped on the chimney - S - 4 - 43
It is a fully functional clean Railroad Lantern. The Fount is in great shape. The burner, wick and wick adjustment knob are also fully functional and clean. The globe is a Clear Unmarked globe and is very clean.
Patent Dates are as follows:- Nov 8, 1927
- April 3, 1928
- December 25, 1928
- May 4, 1920
- S-4-1943
