This is a NEW ITEM. My husband and I have started a line of Brandywine Collectibles of things dealing with Johnstown, Pa. This is the Morleys Dog collectible. This dog figure became famous during the 1889 Johnstown Flood. A cast metal figure of the dog was on display for years and years in one of the small parks indown town Johnstown. There are several different stories floating around what has happened to this famous dog within the last several years. At the bottom of the figure on the front is printed Morley's Dog - Johnstown, Pennsylvania. On the back is the Brandywine Woodcrafts, Inc sticker and also the American Flag/Made inUSA. The measurements of this dog is 4 1/8" x 3 5/16" X 3/4". Anyone (older) from Johnstown, Pa. should remember this dog and the history behind it.
