The stein is made of pressed glass with molded facets for optical effects. It was made by the Saxonian Glass company - an important glass manufacturer in Germany that operated in late 1800s - first half of 1900s. There is a crown impressed on the bottom with \"S-G\" letters - the factory\'s mark.
The lid is pewter with the engraved presentation inscription:
\"Ehrenpreis Propaganda Verführung 2.12.23\"
\"Verein für Polizei u. Schutzhunde Fürstenfeld-Bruck\"
The stein was presented as an Honor Prize for Propaganda Enticement in December 2nd, 1923 by a Police and Protection Dogs Association in the town of Furstenfeld-Bruck in Bavaria.
The stein has a chip in the base pedestal (see pics.). Otherwise excellent condition with no other chips, cracks or repairs. The stein is 8.5\" tall to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity.
