This antique collection of slave documents from 1862 is a rare find for collectors of historical memorabilia. The documents date back to the Civil War era and feature a letterhead from the US Capitol, signed by Brigadier General. These papers offer a glimpse into the past and provide a unique opportunity to own a piece of American history.

With their distinctive design and exceptional quality, these documents are sure to impress any collector. Whether you're an avid collector of historical artifacts, or simply interested in owning a unique piece of the past, this collection is the perfect addition to any collection. Don't miss your chance to own this incredible piece of history.

This authentic document has a 2 inch tear at the crease at the bottom. Please see last 3 pictures. Also this item is over 100 years old but is not brittle. The antique paper it is printed and written on has a ribbed textured surface.

This is an old antique letter. I comes encased inside of a real wooden display case. In trying to transcribe all four sections of this trifold government document on contraband slaves being returned, I have marked certain words that were not visibly discernable to me with 2 question marks. One at the beginning of the word or statement and another question mark at the end.

It is obvious what the main letter says as it has been typed in a large font and can be easily read. Please note also the embossed capitol building in the letterhead. This is an original

document and not a copy.

This document was trifolded seemingly to travel safely in and officers pocket or satchel.  It is signed by 2 captains and a Brigadier General. The main letter is transcribed in large font that is easily tradable. The letter on the left in the middle says:

December /2 /62
