1940s Sheaffer's Valiant Black Fountain Pen & Pencil Set. Orig box. Excellent:

What you get in this sale:

· Make and model: Sheaffer's Valiant Fountain Pen and Pencil set from the late 1940s...white dot lifetime guarantee

· Color: Black plastic caps/barrels with wide gold cap bands and clips

· Cap: Clips bear the lifetiime waranty white dot

· Pencil: Blue eraser inside pencil looks unused.

· Special Note: touchdown filler. When testing with water, the pen made bubbles when pressing in the pump.

Nib: Triumph nib. 14 KT. Smooth and fine.

· Length: 5" to 5 1/4"

· Condition: The original Sheaffer box is in very good condition. See pictures.

This set is in incredibly excellent condition. c80 years old and each piece functions properly.
