Vintage 1940\'s Sheaffer Tuckaway (smaller clip) model fountain pen set with mechanical pencil. Both instruments have 14k gold filled accents on black plastic and the pen has 14k gold nib - I am unsure if it is a fine tip nib or not as it does not say. Fountain pen has the iconic white dot above the gold clip. No monograms on either instrument and both are engraved with:
W.A. SCHEAFFER PEN COFORT MADISON IOWA USAMADE IN USA
Fountain pen is the plunger style with Vacuum Filling System or Vac Fil. Pen is unrestored and sold As Is without return. You should have pen repair experience if attempting to restore this pen. It has been tucked away for decades.
Pen is about 4 5/8\" long and pencil is about 4 1/8\" long. Gift box is 6 1/4 x 2 1/8\"
