Really nice item in good used condition for the time it has been around. I try to do some research on this item did not find much but one similar to it with serial number 19175. The one i have has serial number 10958. I want to say this item is rear but it has a couple of issues with it. Some of the issues with this item is that there is a big broken off piece from the side of it witch is cast iron and its one of the parts that attaches to bottom with a screw that is missing for the reason. Another issue is someone repaint it this item at one point but it only looks like it was the top cover. The other issue is one of the nobs on it looks like its not functional because it would not move number like the rest of the nobs on it. Im not a specialist in this item but everything seems to be functional other than the nob like i said it\'s a really nice item only found one similar to it will make a nice collectible to someone in the medical industry. Everything i describe you can see in pictures.
