This vintage 1930\'s Microsedimentation Apparatus, made by the Clay Adams Co in New York, USA, is a rare find for collectors of medical & scientific instruments. This was an estate sale find. In my limited research I discovered that this was used to test the sedimentation rate of red blood cells, which identifies the presence of absence of inflammatory process and is an accurate indication of the severity of infection. I hope that makes more sense to you than it did to me 😀 lol. Anyways it would make a nice display piece. Thanks for taking a look!
