This 1852 Winfield Scott Political Campaign Token belonged to a friend on mine that recently passed away. He had a small political collection put together in the 1950's & 1960's of about 50 pieces that I will be selling over the next couple months in my other listings.

This 1852 Winfield Scott campaign token is excellent overall (see photos). It very clean/attractive and has the Scott Wounded - Lundy's Lane reverse (see photos). The medal is well marked with Maj. Gen. Winfield Scott and the maker R.W.Rayden, SC to the obverse (see photos). The medal measures approximately 28mm and is made of brass (see photos).

This is a very nice/clean original 1852 Winfield Scott campaign token that would be excellent for display with a political collection. Great opportunity for the advanced political collector.
