17th Century Rare French Marines ? Plug Bayonet 1680-1700:

This is a perfect example of a very rare plug bayonet. Note the fine work on the brass cross guard and brass end cap. Untouched tang and as well a blade made like a sword . Has a top gutter and false edge to the point. Measures a total of 12 inches in length. Just a super hard to find example coming out of our own collection. . Wonderful patina and color . Dating late 17th century and has a original walnut handle plug possibly a French marines example.
