Busts of Empress Marie-Louise and Napoléon I

Busts of Empress Marie-Louise and Napoléon I

Manufacture Imperiale de Sèvres after François Joseph Bosio; - 1811

These busts in the classical style were intended as personal or diplomatic presents from the Emperor and Empress. The pairs were made in different sizes. Most were broken when the kings returned to the French throne, and today only two sets remain of both Napoléon and Marie-Louise.
