Vintage pressed glass boudoir lamp, this is EAPG from the approximate yearof 1870, made by Bakewell Pears & Co, this is the Princess Feather Oil LampBase that has been turned into an electric lamp. Works, tested. Imagine thiswith a cute shade! Cord needs better cleaning than I gave it, estate find,nonsmoking home. Lamp base has pretty pattern as does the bowl that held lampoil back in the day. No cracks no chips, the underside of the base hassome fleabites you can feel when you run finger across but you cannot see them,the bowl part of lamp is cloudy inside. Lamp 12.5 in tall to top of socket,base 5 in wide, bowl 6 ¼ in wide, lamp 9 ¼ in tall to where the metal of thesocket area starts. This lamp is 154 years old!!! You may want to have itrewired to be safe, shipped in a box this is heavy
