Here's a classic Herter's Skinning Knife with original sheath. I date it to the 1960's or so and it's in excellent slightly used condition. Knife measures 11" long with the blade being about 6.25". Carbon steel blade with wide belly. It has a steel clip-on thumb rest that came on it. Blade shows a bit of use but still has the factory edge. There are some stains due to the nature of carbon steel. Handle is beech wood secured to the tang with 2 silver cutlers rivets. HERTER'S is engraved on the handle. Sheath shows little wear. A nice set. Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back. Check my response.
