oa60 CPR snow train 1939 Vancouver Revelstoke / ski championship:

The Vancouver Ski Zone Committee, the Canadian Amateur Ski Association and Canadian Pacific Railway organized a special Snow Train to Revelstoke for the 1939 Western Canada Ski Championships. I can email JPEGs of 1939 newspaper articles which list the skiers who boarded the Snow Train at Vancouver and which say Revelstoke already had a 50-year skiing history. The Snow Train was promoted by Grouse Mountain Ski Club, Tyee Ski Runners, Mount Seymour Ski Club, Hollyburn Pacific Ski Club, Vancouver Ski Club and local sporting goods stores. This is a vintage original ticket, not a modern repro.

SHIPPING IS FREE to a Canadian address only during my annual summer clearout. US shipping is $10, International is $12. The Canadian post office no longer allows an envelope which “contains goods” to be sent to the US or internationally by lettermail, it has to be mailed a more expensive way.
