Original circa 1920s MAGIC poster (17.5 x 25 inches) on linen backing. This poster was designed to promote Chang and Fak-Hong\'s UNITED MAGICIANS magic show of \"THE BHUDA\". The poster was nicely backed in VERY GOOD+ to FINE condition. The poster was NEVER Folded and has age-appropriate edge wear. Professionally backed, displays very wel, with Bright Gorgeous Colors. The Great Chang and his partner Fak-Hong were some of the most famous magicians of their time. They toured Europe together in the 1920s and 1930s with the United Magicians troupe. This exciting group consisted of numerous unforgettable magicians and renowned performance groups.CHANG aka Juan Jose Pablo Jesorum was Born December 2, 1889,and Died April 27,1972 while in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, of cancer. At 17, Chang traveled with The Great Raymond from 1907 to 1912 circling the globe, eventually becoming his chief assistant.His first appearance in Chinese robes was 1913 under his name of Li-Ho-Chang.Chang traveled with 14 tons of equipment, costumes, stage settings, and provisions, and included in his entourage was a ballet company and twelve-pieceorchestra.In 1928 Chang had accumulated a fortune and decided to retire from the stage and settle in New York.
