This is a AXINITE CRYSTAL CLUSTERthat is in a standard 1 1/4" perky box. The location in full is "Puvia Mount, Saranpaul, Brerezovo District, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Tyumen Oblast, Russia". This is from the collection of a discriminating Middle-Georgia collector with an eyefor aesthetics and quality. These choice specimens now bear Dixie Euhedrals labels.This particular specimen was purchased21years ago.
CRYSTAL EDGES ARE CLEAN.EXCELLENT CRYSTAL FORM, EXQUISITE COLOR. This is a great example from the locality!I USED BOTH MY CAMERA AND PHONE TO TAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS. These photos were taken outdoors under natural sunlight as well as in shaded areas at times..These photos were cropped to fit into a 1200 x 1200 square, a label image was added but otherwise no other changes were made to the original image.THIS WAS ACQUIRED IN2003FROMTHE CRYSTAL PERFECTION. The price for this in 2003 was $25.Approximate size of crystal specimen:7/8"WIDE X 5/8"TALL X1/8"THICKNESSor in metric:2.3 X 1.7 X0.4 CM. The metric dimensions are more precise.This was photographed outdoors in bright sunlight and at times it was photographed in shade. The video shows it in the sunlight as well as in a shaded area and the video is better than the photos so do check it out. The crystal looks much better in the video once I reach a shaded area so be sure to watch the entire minute-long video. Do you likeperky box mounted specimens??
