farnum nantucket basket: $95.00
Offered today is a 2007 Nantucket Basket purse made by Farnum with a coastal scrimshaw scene on the inside of the lid. The height is 7”- width 8”, and the depth is 5”. The purse is signed on the bottom as shown in pictures. The basket, handles, and hardware are all in amazing condition. The black oval decorative cover has some perhaps (?) chemical markings, such as alcohol or perfume or something of that sort. There are images to show this and it noticeable when light reflects on it. Please feel free to ask questions before offerding. I believe the scrimshaw is a composite, for Whale protection and conservation. Thank you!
