Photo #1: James Cordy (92) in front of home built for ‘the old-timer’ by men of the C.F.S. near Holberg, V.I. (with Judy MacCallum of Port Hardy).

#2: Head of Holberg Inlet (West Arm). Now road beside rotting pilings of once busy long wharf that served Holberg.

#3: James Curdy (92) and Violet Ohlsen (77), pioneers of the North End, V.I.

#4: Head of Holberg Inlet (West Arm) Stump used for axe-throwing contests.

The photos were taken by Violet Ohlsen and Judy MacCallum in 1980. Each photo is just less than 5” x 3 1/2”. These are vintage original photos which were printed around the time they were taken: the back of the photo paper is marked “This paper / manufactured / by Kodak” – the David Rudd Cycleback website says this wording was used in the 1970s & 1980s.
